Vat & sulfur dyes are amongst the most used dyes in the textile industry and require the use of extremely toxic chemicals and highly inefficient dyeing processes, resulting in massive amounts of water and chemical waste. Cerulean Labs is focused on providing a cost-reducing and clean alternative to the use of Vat & Sulfur dyes, while also making their use applicable to all yarn types.

Our technology eliminates any use of toxic chemicals, does not produce any waste, can be applied in a single-step process and to any type of machinery & application with no need for special equipment or line retrofitting. Moreover, due to the embedded cost reduction the technology provides the textile dyers with, it is the perfect platform for bio vat dyes to scale in the market in a meaningful way and to be used with a dye technology that greatly compliments the bio-dyes environmental story.
